Aqua for All (A4A)
The Aqua for All foundation originates from 2000. From 2002, this foundation intends to create a link between Third World water and sanitation projects, sponsoring and socially responsible entrepreneurship. By acting as a ‘broker’ between all parties involved, Aqua for All endeavours to tackle the scarcity of drinking water and sanitary facilities in developing countries in a structural way.
CAWST
The Centre for Affordable Water and Sanitation Technology (CAWST) in Canada provides training, education and technical consulting in water and sanitation globally and in Canada. CAWST services are suited to NGOs, government agencies, service clubs and individuals with implementing local water and sanitation programs in developing countries.
Enterprise Works/VITA
A non-profit organisation helping small-scale farmers to make business development plans and developing and promoting low cost technologies for water supply, irrigation, cultivation and crop processing. Main countries of activity within Africa include, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Ghana, Niger, Senegal and Tanzania.
International Network to promote Household Water Treatment and Safe Storage
The website for WHO network particularly promoting household water treatment by chlorination, filtration, solar disinfection, and flocculation and researching impact on diarrhoeal disease. PAT
PAT formed as an NGO by young Thai engineers. 1986 PAT as a commercial company was launched to specialise in the design and manufacture of drilling machines and accessories.
